BLOOD - NEW YEAR's RESOLUTIONS

People want to give blood. They really do. But come Christmas, given the amount of events, school plays, work drinks, Jurassic Park reruns and popping around the family's, giving blood is relegated down the list to somewhere near cleaning the drains. Given a tiny budget, saturated media and a drastic need to make a difference, we decided that they're never going to change festive habits. Peer pressure vs YouTube Preroll Pressure? There was a bright ray of hope in New Year's Resolutions. Ever eager to do *something*, why not offer people something that was easy, braggable (and, like, helped people). A simple twist of the emotional wrist was all it needed. Directed, filmed, editted, graded in house for about £2.67.

People want to give blood.

But come Christmas the fun and festivities come first. So blood stocks drop dramatically around this time. Problem.

The idea was to leverage New Year's resolutions instead. People create resolutions every year and want stick to them. Giving blood is an attainable, realistic and damn feelgood resolution.

Add some hard-hitting reality to the idea, et voila.
